Ég hef ákveðið að stofna til spurningaleiks hér. Fyrsta spurningin ætti að vera frekar einföld.
Í hvaða lagi komu orðin “Here come ol’ flattop” fyrst fyrir í texta? Hér er spurt um nafn lags og höfund.
Í umræðunni um hleranirnar undanfarið hef ég heyrt fólk halda því fram að í gamla símkerfinu hafi verið erfiðara að hlera en með nútíma stafrænni tækni. Í rauninni er munurinn lítill.
Í gamla kerfinu þurfti bara einn innmúraðan símamann sem gæti tengt línu þess sem njósnað er um samhliða inn í leigulínu til njósnarans. Þannig gæti hann og upptökutæki hans verið hvar sem er.
Þetta kæmist aldrei upp nema það væri sérstaklega leitað eftir því.
Um daginn var ég að finna mp3 sem ég hafði gert fyrir nokkrum árum af MIDI-skrá sem ég gerði í kringum 1992.
Þetta er lyftumúsík dauðans. Hægt er að nota þetta t.d. sem “hold”-tónlist í símstöð þar sem mikið af reiðu fólki bíður á línunni. Ég áskil mér náttúrlega öll réttindi.
